Tree of Life Day Spa has been proudly serving the residents and tourists of Mount Desert Island for over two decades at our Bar Harbor spa. Our successful spa was founded on the principle that delivering high quality spa and massage treatments is both an art and a science.

Our massage techniques are developed based on anatomy and kinesiology to provide a well-informed service to fit all client needs. Tree of Life Day Spa’s massage treatments include advanced techniques in Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage, and Hot Stone massage. We even provide knowledgeable expertise in Sports massage and Prenatal massage.

All Massage Therapists and Aestheticians are licensed through the State of Maine and have attended accredited programs. In addition, our entire staff goes through our intensive training no matter their level of past experience or training. We strive to make sure that our services are of the highest quality for your spa treatment pleasure.

Purposeful Design
Atmosphere is just as important as the services we provide. Because of this, we designed our appointments, products, and rooms with our clients in mind. Spa Clients have at least one full hour on the table for massage treatments. Our salon services are designed to give you the time and care you deserve. We do not believe in cutting corners in our spa and massage treatment practice.
Our spa location in Bar Harbor is also purposeful with the products we choose to use on our clients. We are dedicated to providing the most exquisite high quality ingredients made from all natural sources. As a result, we guarantee that your spa services, from facials to hot stone massages to mud wraps to CBD treatments, are a superior choice.
Our Bar Harbor spa at 108 Cottage Street has grand high ceilings and elegant wood floors. Every spa treatment room is private and spacious enough to allow your therapist space to best perform your spa treatment service. We deliberately painted the spa and massage treatment rooms with soothing colors to accompany the tranquil music selection. Nothing that we do is strictly cosmetic. We are strategic in creating the ideal atmosphere for rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation to all clients during all spa treatments.

Our spa staff are members of the American Massage Therapy Association, and we hold all our staff at the spa to a professional code of ethics. Part of this code of ethics states that we will:
